Who is the real mother? English short story writing.

       Once,two women went to see a judge with a child."This is my child",said the first woman.

         "No,no.This is my child.I gave birth to him", the second woman said.The judge listened to both of them. How do i find the real mother?

        "The judge was confused.He sat lost in thought for a while. Then he beckoned the assistant who stood beside him and said ,"Bring a sword quickly", The man brought the sword.

         "Now, cut the child into two and give one half each to these two woman."Hearing this, one of the woman started crying and she rushed towards the child.

            "Lord, Please don't. Cut my child. He hasn't done anything wrong. Please give the child to her". The woman said, looking at the other woman.

              The other woman stood unaffected by all this.The clever judge immediately understood who the real mother was.

             The other woman who claimed to be the child's mother was sent to prison.
